The story of Alélor mustard began in 1873. Alélor was named after the two regions of Alsace and Lorraine. Since then, respect for ancestral experience has been the guarantee of tasty mustard and genuine horseradish. Originality also stems from a short supply chain based on local Alsatian agriculture. Alélor processes horseradish grown exclusively in northern Alsace and is also working to restore mustard seed production in the region.

This makes Alélor the last sweet mustard producer in Alsace and the only processor of horseradish roots in France. With 19 employees, Alélor produces 120 tonnes of horseradish, 500 tonnes of cucumbers and 1 000 tonnes of mustard per year.
