The company, which produces high-quality and delicious oils, took over in 1989 from its father Judith Moog. The company grew out of the organic farm Domaine de la Planète, founded by Franz J. Moog near Carcassonne in southwestern France. Judith Moog specialized in the natural production of organic oils before founding the BIO PLANÈTE brand and step by step creating Europe's first purely organic oil mill. In 2004, a second branch was established in Germany.
